A plan to foresee the future
Planning for the coming years and redefining the organisation's mission, vision and values. These are the objectives of a Strategic Plan, This is a measure that is of vital importance to the organisations as it defines the direction they will take. In Andaira, together with the cooperative CSE, we are helping the Aldaba Foundation to develop its plan for the next four years.
After defining objectives, action plans are established to achieve them, using resources, deadlines and monitoring and evaluation of results. The ultimate aim of a strategic plan is to achieving the goals set, These may be economic, human, environmental or technological growth.
The development of the plan, moreover, is done in a participatory manner. The planning process must involve the majority of the members of an organisation., The legitimacy and degree of buy-in will depend to a large extent on the level of participation with which it is implemented. In this way, a set of purposes is collectively elaborated that will enable the organisation to act accordingly. The conviction that the desired future is possible allows for the construction of a community of interests between all those involved in the change process, a basic requirement for achieving the proposed goals.
