Equal Opportunities Plan for women and men applied in ESMASA

Participatory consultancy process that under the umbrella of Tangente and in collaboration with Pandora Mirabilia we developed for the design and implementation of a diagnosis of equal opportunities between women and men, and the implementation of the I Equal Opportunities Plan of EMPRESA DE SERVICIOS MUNICIPALES DE ALCORCÓN S.A.U.

The development of the Equality Plan will be carried out in compliance with the requirements set out in the Royal Decree 6/2019 of 1 March 2019 on urgent measures to guarantee equal treatment and opportunities for women and men in employment and occupation. and with the Royal Decree 901/2020 of 13 October, which regulates equality plans and their registration. 

The diagnosis carried out will include:

• conducting an exhaustive documentary analysis of the company's labour management processes,
• conducting in-depth interviews with staff,
• a focus group discussion for workers
• and the completion of a questionnaire for all staff.

Based on the diagnosis and in collaboration with the committee in charge of negotiating the Equality Plan, we will draw up a series of workshops in which we will pool the gender gaps detected, design the appropriate measures for the company, define their scope and the monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, with the aim of eradicating these gaps through an ordered set of measures resulting in the 1st Equality Plan of the Empresa de Servicios Municipales de Alcorcón SAU.
