Andaira participates in the comprehensive advice programme for associations in Madrid, one more way of promoting associationism
Through the Temporary Joint Venture between Altekio, Cimas and Andaira, we carry out this municipal service under the commission and supervision of the Directorate General for Citizen Participation of the Madrid City Council.
The following is the article published in the review Madrid Participa nº25.
The service, which serves around 20 associations per month by appointment, is provided in person and is completely free of charge.
The Directorate General for Citizen Participation provides a free advice service to associations registered in the Madrid City Council Register of Citizen Entities on matters that may affect them in the day-to-day management of their activities, as well as to all citizens who are in the process of setting up a new association. The service is comprehensive, which means that it deals with legal, tax, accounting and labour issues.
In addition, it is provided in person, by appointment, to facilitate communication between the association and the advisors, and to be able to access the documentation or legal texts on which the advice offered is based.
The most frequently requested matters have to do with legal obligations derived from the nature of the association, labour relations with its employees or volunteers, commercial relations, project development techniques, administrative procedures prior to incorporation and the public utility of associations. Around 20 associations a month are assisted by this service, which is rated very positively by its users. The evaluation of the service is based on a questionnaire that is offered once the consultation has been carried out.
The Charter of Services for the Promotion of Associations includes the advisory service as a commitment of the Directorate General for Citizen Participation with the associations of Madrid City Council.
