In 2006, Andaira designed and began to develop the Local Coexistence Plan for the municipality of El Molar, which is still in operation today. This plan has been updated through different phases, constituting an exceptional experience of sustainability, as necessary as it is rare in community development processes, whose benefits are appreciable in the medium and long term.

Throughout this long experience, we have worked for to implement instruments that contribute to building a society for all the people who live in El Molar, designing actions to promote and improve coexistence, through awareness, mutual knowledge and the enhancement of the opportunity that a more diverse society represents.

The plan is conceived as a framework for collaboration capable of energising projects, bringing together initiatives and providing coherence to the actions of both the public sector and civil society, facilitating participation and co-responsibility in its construction, based on the need to adopt a global approach and the conviction that the responsibility for the integration process and its management must be shared by the different administrations, the social actors, including immigrants, and society as a whole.
