The ever-changing reality

News / 24 March

At Andaira we are working to adapt our actions, workshops, training or campaigns that we normally carry out in person with groups or in direct care, to a format that is compatible with the health alert situation, so that these actions can be carried out from home.

ALTERNATIVE ACTIVITIES FOR THESE TIMES

It is clear to us that at this moment in time we cannot fail to towards gender equality, which is why we are replacing our face-to-face workshops with children, by didactic working materials with which families can reflect on the importance of work-life balance and co-responsibility. Working with the little ones at home through games, activities, stories, and a long etcetera in order to highlight the value of care and domestic work, the importance of sharing tasks, respect and being able to choose what to play with free of gender stereotypes.

On the other hand, we are also improving our training content and web platforms in order to be able to deliver training virtually.

WE CONTINUE TO WORK WHEN IT IS MOST NEEDED

We are also adapting our awareness-raising campaigns to reach out through mobile apps and social media, in a clear way and adapted to the greatest number of people.

We consider it a priority to contextualise the communication campaigns to the different problems that may arise during the confinement situation, addressing the prevention of gender violence, unwanted loneliness, addictions, etc.

WE PUT OUR CREATIVITY IN THE HANDS OF YOUR NEEDS

At Andaira we have always been known for adapting our work to the needs of our clients.and demands of the people for whom we work. That is why we know that this is one of those times when social difficulties mean that we have to put our creativity to the test in order to continue intervening.
