Andaira will carry out, together with the Corso cooperative, this research, commissioned by the Three Cultures Foundation for the next 14 months.

The Research on Migratory Flows between Northern Morocco and Andalusia, inserted in the Menara Project, The objectives include the description and characterisation of migration flows between the aforementioned territories, as well as the analysis of the effects and consequences of the current economic crisis on this group and the projection of the possible evolution of these flows in the future. It also analyses the Andalusian population's perception of the Moroccan immigrant community in Andalusia, with the aim of making visible and highlighting the keys to the cultural encounter and the evolution of their progressive interaction. Finally, special emphasis is placed on the evaluation of co-development projects between Morocco and Andalusia, with a view to systematising good practices and useful and operational indicators, which overflow the research process, providing knowledge that enables the development of projects that are increasingly adapted to the needs to be covered and, therefore, more transformative and empowering for the target population.

The research process designed focuses on the usefulness, applicability and replicability of its results. Above all, the aim is to generate useful knowledge by means of social research tools that allow us to detect opportunities and synergies, as well as weaknesses and shortcomings, in order to strengthen the former and solve the latter.

Within this philosophy of action for social transformation, the work team formed for the implementation of the research process provides a holistic perspective thanks to the diversity and complementarity of its members, which in addition to prospecting the most rigorous aspects for the characterisation and analysis of these flows, assumes as a basis for the project the integration of the voices and experiences of the different social agents involved in the migratory process, including Moroccan immigrants, true protagonists of this social reality, as old as humanity and at the same time, very current.
