The main objective of the research is to identifying how the pandemic has affected the mobility patterns of public transport users.

To know the possible differences in the results by habitat size [more than 50,000] gender and age.

To find out how public transport users perceive the safety of public transport and the reasons why they stop using it.

➔ Identify possible proposals for improvement to help build public confidence in the use of public transport.

In order to achieve this objective, it is proposed to carry out research using complementary methodological approaches:

  • Quantitative techniquesThe following survey was conducted: an online survey with telephone reinforcement [800] of a stratified sample of regular public transport users prior to the pandemic.
  • Realisation of 2 focused workshops aimed at contrasting and reinforcing the findings from the quantitative study.
