For the third consecutive year, Andaira, together with Soledad Trujillo, is teaching the sessions on Gender and Education within the Public Policy module of the Master's Degree in Gender and Development that is organised by Complutense Institute of International Studies [ICEI].
Through these sessions, we aim for students to:
- Learn about the current framework of Public Policies in the field of Education at international, European and national level, being able to analyse the patriarchal, anti-ecological and adult-centric biases (among others) that they may have.
- Have practical tools for mainstreaming a gender perspective in educational processes (formal, non-formal and informal).
In this way, it is possible to understand the current challenges of education, and collectively build educational strategies aimed at a development that fosters liberating and empowering processes.
