Study on health and migration in the Spanish agricultural sector.

The project Agromisalud The general objective of this study is to explore how the intersection of health determinants (nationality, ethnicity, gender, social class and working conditions) affect the health and use of health services of workers of Latin American and Eastern European origin in the agricultural sector in four Autonomous Communities (Catalonia, La Rioja, Murcia and Andalusia). A combination of quantitative and qualitative techniques will be used to collect information.

This project gives continuity to the line of research initiated with the AGROMISALUD I project (PI20/01310) «Migration and agricultural work in Spain: socio-occupational precariousness and health» (2020-24) with agricultural workers of African origin (North African and sub-Saharan).
