Andaira's Social Balance
The Social Balance of the Madrid Social Market consists of a questionnaire that we all fill in every two years with the aim of evaluating our progress on the commitment to improvement in different areas: employment policy, social commitment, democracy, environmental sustainability, intercooperation y no profit motive.
The purpose of this evaluation is twofold: internal and external.
On the one hand, we hope that the process of completing the Social Balance Sheet will help us, the entities that make up the MES, to assess how far we have come in our commitment to the principles and criteria of the Social Market. It is also time to set ourselves new targets for improvement.
At the external level, the objective of the Social Balance Sheet is to to make our efforts to make the economy a tool for social transformation more visible.
With all the problems involved in introducing a quantitative measure, given the diversity of projects and situations that make up the MES, the Social Balance Sheet is one of the best ways of measuring the social impact of the MES. commitment to generating a single shared measure, The aim is to make it possible to visualise our progress and to transmit it as transparently as possible.
