Assessing how far we have progressed in our commitment to the principles and criteria of the Madrid Social Market. This is the main purpose of the Social Balance Sheet, a audits carried out by the Social Market partner companies every two years in different areas: labour policy, social commitment, democracy, environmental sustainability, inter-cooperation and non-profit. In addition to assessing our performance, the Balance Sheet enables us to set ourselves new targets for improvement and make visible our efforts to make the economy a tool for social transformation.

Bearing in mind that one of the areas we need to work on is the environmental sustainability, Our improvement objective for 2015 (when we will have to carry out the Social Balance again) is to improve internal consumption. To this end, we will broaden our range of suppliers within the Social and Solidarity Economy, and especially those products that are environmentally sustainable.
