The main objective of the research is to identify how the pandemic has affected the mobility habits of transport users.

  • To find out possible differences in results by habitat size (over 50,000), gender and age.
  • To find out how public transport users perceive the safety of public transport and the reasons why they stop using it.
  • Identify possible proposals for improvement to help build public confidence in the use of public transport.

In order to achieve this objective, it is proposed to carry out research using complementary methodological approaches:

  • Quantitative techniques: online survey with telephone reinforcement (800) to a stratified sample of regular public transport users before the pandemic.
  • Holding of 2 focused workshops aimed at contrasting and reinforcing the conclusions drawn from the quantitative study.
